My first Commercial "Final Clean" job
One thing that is important to learn is to never put a deep cleaning of house you've never been in and a "Final Clean" on the same day. I must have lost my mind! I'm sure my crew thought the same thing. They stood by me and that's one thing about hiring a professional team, we do finish our job.
I probably over did it as far as being prepared for this hard day. I think I have enough green scrubby's, windex, paper towels, and rags... to last me a lifetime! Okay well, this whole year.
It's definitely much less emotional cleaning a Commercial building. Your not cleaning someones pantry out and throwing away expired items per request, or clean out a fridge and stove that probably hasn't been done in a year or so.
It is though a major cleaning from floor to ceiling! You literally have to clean every inch of the place. Even with 4 people this was a long process. Thank God my favorite Chinese restaurant, Yummy House was open when we finished.
It was also a time to learn my crew and how quickly I knew where to place each one of them in each job we had today. I am super thankful to have my sister who is a firefighter to always have my back. No job left undone! Many more memories have been made and I am blessed every single day to be able to own my business.
